Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Andre Onana and now the goalkeeper has sent a message to the recruitment team.

Onana is due to fly into Manchester tonight according to Fabrizio Romano, ahead of a medical and contract signing over the next 24-48 hours.

After weeks of long negotiations, Onana is finally on his way. A fee has been agreed with Inter Milan with The Athletic reporting that the fee is £43.9million initially with an added £3.4m in add-ons.

It is possible he could be joining up late with the squad as they head to the USA tomorrow following the friendly in Edinburgh against Lyon.

He hasn’t even arrived in the country yet but is already dropping hints and getting United fans excited for the next deal incoming – Rasmus Hojlund.

Onana drops Hojlund hint over social media

As Onana awaits his flight to Manchester from Milan, he has been on social media, dropping a telling hint toward one of United’s top targets.

Today, Romano has suggested Hojlund is next on the list for United, with a bid on the way.

Onana liked a post on 433’s Instagram, which pictured Hojlund mocked up in a United kit and reporting the imminent interest in the Dane.

This is a huge hint toward who Onana hopes to see join him at United ahead of next season.

Hojlund bid being prepared

Romano tweeted this morning that United are preparing their opening bid for their top attacking target with personal terms already 100% agreed.

The reported asking price is thought to be €70m (£60m) and United have been advised not to include players in the deal for Hojlund.

It is thought the next step is for the official bid to be submitted, with Onana concluded, this could accelerate quickly.

The Danish forward quickly became Erik ten Hag’s top target after Harry Kane proved out of reach.
