Manchester United continue to be linked with a summer move to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, and could pull off an exchange deal.
Manchester United still haven’t wrapped up the signing of Bryan Mbeumo as Ruben Amorim chases new attacking signings.
Matheus Cunha joined United earlier this summer, but the Brazilian remains United’s only addition in the final third.
United continue to chase Mbeumo and will hope to have him on board soon, despite a lack of progress during talks with Brentford.
Mbeumo is the priority, but United also want to bring in another centre-forward this summer – and one name won’t go away this week.

Manchester United links to Nicolas Jackson continue
Reports over the weekend suggested that United were interested in signing Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.
The Blues have snapped up Liam Delap this summer, but then also added Joao Pedro from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Jackson may find himself as the odd man out, especially after a red card during the Club World Cup.
United are thought to be interested if Chelsea are willing to sell, and iNews now claim that United really are keen on Jackson.
It’s suggested that Chelsea still want to sign Alejandro Garnacho, and that could lead to an exchange between the two clubs.
The report claims that one source believes a swap could take place, with United valuing Garnacho at around £50million to £60million.
A sale is crucial for United as Garnacho is an academy graduate who can be put down as pure profit for the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.
United would likely have to pay more for Jackson than Chelsea would for Garnacho, but the two players switching places may suit all parties.

Manchester United swap with Chelsea could add up
Rumours of an exchange between United and Chelsea have been rife all summer.
Initial rumours suggested a swap involving Garnacho and Christopher Nkunku, another forward whose future surely lies away from Chelsea.
Now it’s Jackson being linked with United, and an exchange – even if presented as two separate deals – could add up.
Nkunku is a fine player in his own right, but Jackson is younger, more athletic, more of a natural centre forward and has scored more Premier League goals.
Jackson certainly appeals more to us than Nkunku, and with United looking to wheel and deal this summer, swapping Garnacho for the Senegalese forward is a real possibility.
