Manchester United have been given some hope of landing Bayern Munich talent Mathys Tel after his agent refused to rule out a transfer.
The summer transfer window is some way off yet but United are already being linked with top signings.
The latest is Bayern Munich wonderkid Matyhs Tel, with reports from Germany suggesting that United have already opened talks to try and sign him.
Contact has allegedly been held with Tel’s representatives and he has been ‘intensively analysed’ ahead of a possible move.
Tel has been likened to Kylian Mbappe and United may just have some hope of a deal.
Mathys Tel agent comments
Tel’s agent Gadiri Camara has spoken to Bild having seen the reports of United’s interest.
Camara claims that Tel loves Bayern and is committed to winning trophies with the German giants.
Camara is ‘confident’ that Tel will receive more playing time soon enough but is ready to ‘consider all options’ if Bayern don’t use Tel more.
That will give United hope of tempting Tel away from Old Trafford and his situation will be closely monitored in the coming months.
Tel will become a ‘top player’ according to Camara and they aren’t willing to sit around on the Bayern bench.
“Mathys loves the club, the fans, he wants to be important and win all the trophies here with a strong team. Sometimes you just need to feel like you’re on the same path. We’ll see very soon, but I’m confident. But if not, we have to consider all options because Mathys knows that he is valuable and will be a top player,” said Camara.
Tel was only given 11 minutes of action in Sunday’s 3-2 defeat at Bochum but did come up with a late assist for Harry Kane.

Who is Mathys Tel?
Tel emerged in the Rennes ranks and made a huge 2022 move to Bayern after just 10 first-team appearances in France.
A rapid attacker who can play up front or out wide, tel has shown big potential and has already hit 12 goals in 55 Bayern games.
Hailed as a ‘superb finisher’ by teammate Thomas Muller, Tel could be a huge addition for United for years to come.
Tel doesn’t turn 19 until April and has already shown his quality with one of the top European clubs – even if not quite as regularly as he would like.
If United can offer a starring role, Tel may just have his head turned – and that could make a summer deal a serious possibility.
