Manchester United are busy in the transfer market, with a move for Viktor Gyokeres not yet ruled out.
At the end of the season it had appeared Arsenal were favourites to land Viktor Gyokeres. Since then, the Gunners have moved their attentions towards Benjamin Sesko.
Gyokeres has scored a stunning 97 goals in 102 games for Sporting, including 66 in 68 under Ruben Amorim.
There is a growing case for Gyokeres to trust Amorim and sign for United, with the likes of Matheus Cunha and seemingly Bryan Mbeumo committing to the project.
Gyokeres has just pulled out of the Sweden squad for their internationals, which will allow him to focus on his future.

Viktor Gyokeres is highly admired
Ruben Amorim knows what to expect from Viktor Gyokeres after signing him for Sporting, and the striker recently described it as the best decision he ever made.
Gyokeres has the full respect of his teammates, with Sporting star Zeno Debast talking him up in an interview with Belgian outlet HLN.
Debast claims of Gyokeres: “He is the most complete player I have ever seen,” before adding: “he is a monster.”
The 21-year-old explained that he has benefitted from training against Gyokeres on a daily basis at Sporting.
He explains that Gyokeres “never has enough”, adding, “you improve by training against players like that.”
Manchester United’s young defenders could benefit
Manchester United have a group of young centre-backs who could be the surprise beneficiaries of a move for Viktor Gyokeres.
Leny Yoro, 19, and Ayden Heaven, 18, are bright prospects for the future already playing first team football now, while Tyler Fredricson, 20, made his debut at the end of last season.
Godwill Kukonki, 17, and Reece Munro, 18, also featured during the club’s post-season tour.
And then there is Matthijs de Ligt, who seems like a veteran at 25, but still has areas to develop. Harry Maguire, 32, will also want to try and stay at the top of his game for as long as possible.
Gyokeres would be signed to add goals to Manchester United’s attack – but clearly he could also end up strengthening the defence in the process too.
