Manchester United may be making moves to sign Porto striker Mehdi Taremi after his agent claimed he was at Old Trafford.
Portuguese outlet JN.pt reported earlier this month that Manchester United are interested in the Porto forward.
Taremi scored 31 goals for Porto in all competitions last season and has only one year remaining on his contract at the Dragao.
Now via a post on Instagram Stories, his agent Borna Khoramdel has suggested he was at Old Trafford.

While Manchester United’s first team squad were in Norway taking on Leeds in the first friendly match of the season, Taremi’s agent was at Old Trafford.
Khoramdel uploaded a picture tagged at Old Trafford, including his agency Arvand Sport.

How Taremi would fit in
Manchester United are lacking strikers, highlighted by the club playing a pre-season friendly this week without a recognised senior centre-forward.
Anthony Martial was once again left behind for fitness reasons and is simply not a player the club can rely on at all.
Young Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund has been touted as a target, but even if he is signed, United would be wise not to pile too much pressure on the 20-year-old.
Taremi, 30, would be a useful short-term option and would not be too costly either.
Is all what it seems…
Amid the posts from Taremi’s agent, The MEN deny he was at Old Trafford.
Their live blog at 5.56pm states: “MEN Sport have been told that the agent was not at Old Trafford today. A strange one.”
