Royal Antwerp striker George Ilenikhena has admitted that he dreams of playing in the Premier League, specifically for Manchester United.
It’s no secret that the Red Devils are after a short-term striker signing to help Rasmus Hojlund deal with the burden of leading the line for Manchester United.
Hojlund netted a superb opener against Tottenham Hotspur in the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford but that was just the second goal that the Dane had scored for the Red Devils in the Premier League.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Timo Werner, before his move to Spurs, had been linked but another talented forward has thrown his hat into the ring and declared his willingness to move to Old Trafford.

Ilenikhena on United dream
Royal Antwerp forward George Ilenikhena has opened up on his dream of playing in the Premier League and name-dropped the Red Devils as the team he would love to join.
The 17-year-old spoke to Belgian outlet Het Laaste Nieuws and revealed who his favourite player growing up was and this led to confirming that his favourite team was the Red Devils.
“I used to watch a lot of matches in the Champions League, I saw how players like Cristiano Ronaldo scored goals. Now I was there myself. That first moment after my goal… I couldn’t believe it,” he said.

When asked what his dream move in the future would be, the striker replied: “I hope for the Premier League, that competition really appeals to me.”
Who is George Ilenikhena
As mentioned, the teenage striker plays for Jupiler Pro League side Royal Antwerp and has netted five times in 18 games in the Belgian league.
The teenage striker also scored the winning goal for Antwerp against Barcelona in the Champions League and the Nigerian international has been linked with a move away from Belgium.
These are the sort of transfers United should be working on. Signing an unknown name with big potential should be the way forward and the hope is that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos agree with this approach.
