The Raine Group, who are acting as Manchester United’s exclusive financial advisor, is targeting a full sale of the club in the first quarter of 2023 at a price between £6billion and £7bn, reports The Athletic.
The Red Devils co-owner Avram Glazer reportedly held talks with potential interested parties during his recent trip to Doha for the World Cup.
It has been reported that some of the potential investors Avram Glazer spoke with are from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Last month, the Glazer family announced that they planned to “explore strategic alternatives” for the twenty-time league champions “including new investment into the club, a sale, or other transactions”.
Timeframe and price The Raine Group are aiming for when selling Manchester United revealed

Earlier in the week, Avram Glazer told The Athletic that the process of United’s sale was moving forwards.
Speaking after watching reigning world champions France beat surprise package Morocco, who were the first African side to reach the World Cup semi-finals, 2-0 in the last-four, Glazer said: “It’s not necessarily a sale, it’s a process and we’re going forward with the process, so we’ll see what happens.
“That’s the update, it’s the process and the process is proceeding.”
The Glazers’ £790million leveraged buyout of United in 2005 caused uproar among the club’s fans and resulted in the formulation of breakaway club FC United.
The animosity between the fans and the Glazer family has only intensified as their reign of ownership has gone on.
Last week the Glazers finally agreed to cease taking dividends from the club.
The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) report no dividends will be paid to shareholders.
