The Glazers believe that Manchester United could be valued ‘even higher’ than what they have initially asked for.
The takeover saga drags on. The club was initially ‘put up for sale’ in November 2022 and nearly seven months later – negotiations are still occurring.
Fans are sick and tired of the whole debacle by now and ultimately just want one thing… the Glazers firmly out of the way. They have shown time and time again their intentions with the club – to rinse every single penny they can out of it.
This has been further backed up by the most recent bit of news that’s come out surrounding the takeover, with the Glazers believing they could further deepen their pockets.

Glazers believe they could get even more money for Manchester United
According to the Manchester Evening News, the American duo believe the club could be valued ‘even higher’ than what they are selling for.
It is said that the Glazers initially set an asking price of around £6 billion. However, the latest report states that the Glazers feel the value is closer to that of the Dallas Cowboys, who were last valued at £6.4 billion ($8bn).
It is claimed that the Glazers feel United has ‘the potential’ to be sold for a sum even higher than that of the Cowboys.
This epitomises greed and, to be honest, is nothing less than expected from Avram and Joel.
Man Utd Takeover update – Sheikh Jassim ‘cautious’
The latest bit of news to surface comes from The Athletic, with the Glazers being nuisances once again and delaying to process by not responding – which has led Jassim to take a more ‘cautious’ approach.
“Sheikh Jassim’s team are preparing transactional documents, including shareholder agreements so that the takeover can go through immediately if their bid is accepted, but they are yet to hear back from the Glazers and the timeline for the next steps is unclear. Jassim is therefore cautious,” reported The Athletic.
It seems they are just a horrible duo to deal with. For everyone’s sake surrounding the club, let’s pray a deal concludes soon.
