Latest Folarin Balogun to Manchester United news

Speaking to The United Stand, Ben Jacobs claims United are looking at Balogun following a string of impressive performances at the World Cup.

Jacobs said: “The second part of the question in terms of other names. Flo Balogun is somebody that Manchester United are discussing as a possibility.

“Doesn’t really tick the box of that like experienced forward in terms of age but falls into a category of somebody that is um kind of quite aware of how to play in the Premier League because obviously he was at Arsenal and has done well at Monaco and excellent at the World Cup was gutted for him last night when he got sent off.

“There’s few Premier League clubs that are looking there. He’s a name that I’ve sort of heard banded around, doesn’t feel like the priority position or the priority profile.

“Let’s see whether the player wants to join a project where he’s fighting for a place or wants to go and kind of be the main man somewhere and the starting player because like Fulham have looked, Leeds United have looked these are maybe clubs Ipswich even had a few conversations but before the window opened but I feel like Balogun’s going to get suitors now with European/Champions League football because of how well he’s done at the World Cup, because of his potential, because of his age as well. So, that could be something potentially that develops.”
