Manchester United have an exciting future with a blossoming group of youngsters already making their mark at Old Trafford.
Kobbie Mainoo has emerged as a superstar at Old Trafford over the past few months, dragging his boyhood club out of a real rut before his regular first-team involvement.
Manchester United added him to the exciting group of young players already in Erik ten Hag‘s squad on the regular such as Alejandro Garnacho.
Now the two teenagers are probably United’s two most valuable players and among the first names on the team sheet.
Mainoo has now been discussing who his best friend at Carrington is right now, and it’ll have delighted Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Kobbie Mainoo names his two best friends at Manchester United
In an interview with club media, Mainoo was asked about his best friend at United and his response was encouraging for fans.
When quizzed on his best friend at the club, he said: “Like now? Yeah. I would say [Alejandro] Garnacho or Amad [Diallo].”
Mainoo picking two of the club’s most exciting talents as his best pals at the club bodes well for the future.
This could be a great situation with at least Mainoo and Garnacho likely to be remaining at Old Trafford long term as the two become real stars.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe will love Mainoo’s answer
Hearing Mainoo name Garnacho and Amad – assuming he comes good – as his two best friends in the club will excite those in charge.
Having two supremely talented kids who’ve emerged from Carrington lately thriving in the first team while having an excellent relationship off it is the ideal scenario.
Easily this duo could be regulars at the Theatre of Dreams together for the next decade with their relationship off the field only going to benefit their on-field play.
Sir Jim will be hoping to reap the rewards of this duo who could and should be the foundations of his new Manchester United.
