Manchester United have been linked with Yan Diomande but Ineos should have their sights set on another winger wonderkid.
Interim head coach Michael Carrick made it public that Manchester United are in the market for a new winger.
Yan Diomande is a generational talent, but there are a few concerns over a transfer for the RB Leipzig star.
Firstly, Diomande is more impactful on the right, which is not an area that United need to strengthen. Secondly, the 19-year-old would demand a huge fee given his rising reputation in Europe.
Should Yan Diomande be Man Utd’s top winger target this summer?

Man United should chase Jeremy Monga over Yan Diomande
Ineos have had huge success targeting wonderkids who can settle at Carrington before making their breakthrough into the first team.
It is a strategy that has worked well for them at Old Trafford, and they could continue in a similar vein by targeting Leicester City’s Jeremy Monga.
Back in October, it was reported that United were interested in Monga and as recently as this month it was claimed that United have made a ‘formal approach’ for Monga.
Now that Leicester’s relegation to League One is confirmed, the Foxes are under even more pressure to sell, and an exit for Monga appears to be on the cards.
The 16-year-old winger looks like an extremely bright talent, and one that could be nurtured into a mega star at Carrington. Leicester’s relegation could mean that a bargain deal could be struck.
Do you agree with Ineos’ recruitment model of signing wonderkids?
Jeremy Monga’s 2025/26 season with Leicester City
At just 16, Monga has already become a first-team regular with Leicester and he has been a shining light in their otherwise miserable 2025/26 campaign.
In 2025/26, Monga has made 29 senior appearances for Leicester, including 26 in the Championship.

The majority of those appearances have been as a late substitute, although Monga has also started seven games this season.
He has scored one goal and provided one assist, but his dribbling and pace have made him an exciting watch in the Championship.
