Leny Yoro has been on international duty for France’s under-21 side this month, with an honour now being bestowed upon him that should show Manchester United his latest quality.
On Monday night, Leny Yoro started for France against Iceland in an under-21 European Championship qualifier.
Les Bleus won 2-1, asserting a dominant position at the top of group C with a five-point lead, and Yoro was key.
During this win, Manchester United has been shown another trait of Yoro, which has yet to be seen at Old Trafford.

Recently, Yoro has come into his own for United, starting regular matches and improving every week with his composure and ability on the ball.
So when Yoro was called up by France’s under-21 side, there was always a chance that he would showcase his newfound confidence.
He did exactly this, with the French head coach handing Yoro the captain’s armband for the win over Iceland. This is a statement about his quality as a leader.
This is a trait that Yoro has yet to prove for United, as he has still been considered a youngster for the Red Devils until fairly recently, with Michael Carrick relying on him in Lisandro Martinez’s absence.
Yoro might have to step up as a leader for United soon, though, with Casemiro’s exit set to leave a hole in the dressing room.
