Manchester United and Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans has talked up one Old Trafford figure after he completed his stunning move to the Premier League club.
The Red Devils completed their sensational acquisition of Youri Tielemans earlier this week after Manchester United triggered his release clause at Aston Villa.
Man Utd paid a £35m transfer fee for the 29-year-old Belgian midfielder and Tielemans became the second major signing made by Ineos this summer.
Tielemans had been identified as a key target for the Premier League club after Man Utd’s approach for Brazil midfielder Ederson collapsed in July.

Man Utd summer signing Youri Tielemans on his reunion with former Leicester City defender Jonny Evans at Old Trafford
Youri Tielemans crossed paths with Jonny Evans during his time at Leicester City and the Belgium captain holds the former Manchester United defender in high regard.
Jonny Evans, who is now part of the United coaching staff under manager Michael Carrick, was part of Leicester City’s FA Cup-winning squad alongside Tielemans.
The 38-year-old former Red Devils centre-back was already at the Foxes before Belgium international Tielemans arrived at the King Power in 2019.
Speaking to Man Utd’s club media, Tielemans thinks that United first-team coach Evans might have a profile of him to Michael Carrick ahead of his move to Old Trafford.
“Jonny has been a big influence,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“I think he spoke to the manager about my character and personality.”

Tielemans faced Carrick as a player and the former Aston Villa midfielder admitted that he is keen to now learn under the United manager at Old Trafford.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he explained.
“Obviously, him [Carrick] being a midfielder, he can give me a lot of tips and I can learn from him inside his structure.
“I’m looking forward to learning from him and linking up with my teammates.”
Tielemans linked up with his new Man Utd teammates at the Carrington training complex for pre-season training ahead of the start of this summer’s tour.
