Manchester United fans finally got what they had been waiting for last week.

In the midst of the club’s famous Champions League victory against Paris Saint-Germain, Mason Greenwood made his Red Devils debut.

The 17-year-old will have no doubt appeared sooner, if not for an untimely injury. But now the teenager will be hoping to make up for lost time.

Greenwood is arguably the most exciting of United’s next generation, ahead of even Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes. And now he can prove his worth.

Having come off the bench against PSG and Arsenal, the United striker could make his first start against Wolves this weekend.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to rotate the pack for the FA Cup clash.  With Alexis Sanchez injured, and Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford needing a rest, Greenwood could start up front or out wide.

Along with Anthony Martial, the teenager could build on two bright cameos. After all, there is only so much he can do with 13 minutes of action.

Starting against Wolves would allow Greenwood to play his way unto the game. He also has the goal-scoring ability to build on his 22 strikes at youth and reserve level this season.
