Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes will be available to face Manchester United in the Carabao Cup final despite being sent off in the semi-finals.
Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils will take on Eddie Howe’s Magpies at Wembley on February 26.
It’ll be the first time two of England’s biggest clubs have met in a domestic cup final since Sir Alex Ferguson’s Reds beat Ruud Gullit’s Geordies 2-0 in the 1999 FA Cup final thanks to goals from Paul Scholes and Teddy Sheringham.
While Ten Hag will be targeting his first trophy as United boss, the twenty-time league champions will be hoping to end a six-year trophy drought.
Newcastle haven’t won the FA Cup since 1955.

Why Bruno Guimaraes will be available to face Manchester United in Carabao Cup final
While Manchester United advanced to the final having beaten Nottingham Forest 5-0 on aggregate, Newcastle had booked their place at Wembley 24 hours earlier after defeating Southampton 3-1 across the two legs.
But in the 82nd minute of the semi-final second leg at St James’ Park, Guimaraes was given a straight red card.
Referee had originally handed the former Lyon midfielder a yellow card for his challenge on Samuel Edozie.
But following a VAR review, Tierney opted to hand Newcastle’s number 39 a straight red card for his dangerous and out of control challenge.
The 25-year-old’s studs caught the former Manchester City youngster and Guimaraes was given his marching orders.
But instead of missing the Carabao Cup final later this month through suspension, the ten-time Brazil international will instead serve a three-game ban in the Premier League and will not be available against West Ham, Bournemouth and Liverpool.
But Newcastle’s influential South American will be available for the showpiece at Wembley where he could have a showdown with his Brazilian teammates Fred and Casemiro in midfield.
One man who won’t be able to feature for Newcastle at Wembley is January signing Anthony Gordon.
Having played for Everton in this season’s competition, the England Under-21 international is cup-tied.
Manchester United’s deadline day signing Marcel Sabitzer will be available.
