David Moyes has provided an injury update on his West Ham squad before facing Manchester United in the FA Cup.
There is no time for United to celebrate Sunday’s EFL Cup win over Newcastle, as they are straight back into action at Old Trafford.
We have now taken one of the domestic cups from Liverpool, and continue our bid to reclaim the other one against former manager Moyes tomorrow night (Wednesday).
At his pre-match press conference, Moyes spoke about the injuries Lukasz Fabianski and Vladimir Coufal picked up in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

He said: “We’ve got a squad available and ready to go. We’ve got a few injuries.
“Lukasz Fabianski has got a fractured cheekbone and eye socket. so we haven’t got everything sorted in terms of whether we’re getting it operated on, or letting it heal itself.
“Vladimir Coufal has got a heel injury that will keep him out. I think that’s really the two injuries we have from the weekend.”

Ings scored twice on his first West Ham start on Saturday, as they beat Nottingham Forest 4-0 at the London Stadium, but he cannot play at Old Trafford.
Moyes confirmed at his press conference that the Englishman is cup-tied, following his January move from Aston Villa.
He started and captained Villa in the third round when they were stunned 2-1 on their own patch by League 2 high-fliers Stevenage.
That is a boost for United but they cannot take this game lightly, as they were reliant on David de Gea to preserve a 1-0 Premier League win earlier this season.
Five of the last six meetings between the sides have finished 1-0 either way, with the other a late 2-1 win in east London in September 2021.
That means you would expect this game to be another tight one, with United needing to get right back to serious business after basking in the glow of Sunday’s Wembley triumph.
