Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand both dropped the ultimate compliment on one of their former Manchester United teammates by summing him up with one word each.
Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney shared the pitch together at Old Trafford and the Manchester United legends enjoyed incredible success at the Premier League club.
Both Rooney and Ferdinand were instrumental figures in the United first team under Sir Alex Ferguson, who brought the pair to the club during his legendary reign.
Ferdinand spent the majority of his United spell under Sir Alex Ferguson and briefly played under ex-Red Devils boss David Moyes before his Old Trafford exit in 2014.
Rooney, on the other hand, remained at Old Trafford until 2017 and played under David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho during his time at United.
The 38-year-old ex-United striker served as captain under Louis van Gaal, who he shared a close relationship with before the Dutchman was axed from the Red Devils.
Ferdinand and Rooney crossed paths with several legendary players at United, including Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Edwin van der Sar.

Wayne Rooney, who was sacked from Birmingham City in January, made his latest appearance as a pundit for Manchester United’s clash against Everton on Saturday.
Rooney featured alongside Joleon Lescott and Rio Ferdinand for TNT Sports’ coverage, with the trio opening up on their former teammates in one segment.
Ferdinand and Rooney were tasked with giving one-word responses to their former United teammates, with both paying an incredible tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Rooney used the word “clinical” to describe Cristiano Ronaldo and Ferdinand summed him up as “professional.”
Ronaldo had a sensational impact in his first spell at Old Trafford, with the Al Nassr superstar linking up with Rooney and Carlos Tevez in a formidable attacking trio.

Rooney recalled his experience of arriving at Old Trafford after United signed him in a deal worth £27m from boyhood club Everton in 2004.
The former United captain, who is the club’s all-time leading scorer, admitted that he had a “solid relationship” with his ex-teammates, both on the pitch and off it.
“Obviously, I knew Rio from England before, but when I joined, there were all the other lads in there already,” he said.
“Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and we had a good group, Michael Carrick, John O’Shea, Wes [Brown].
“We all had a solid relationship on and off the pitch, going out together as well.”
