Antonio Valencia is fit for United’s clash with Juventus at Old Trafford this evening, the Manchester Evening News report.
The right-back has missed the last two games and manager Jose Mourinho has a big decision to make.
Ashley Young was excellent for United against Chelsea, filling in with Valencia and Diogo Dalot both out.
He helped shut down Eden Hazard, making five tackles and five interceptions, limiting the Belgian’s impact.
Facing Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo will be even tougher, especially with the prolific goalscorer’s tendency to drift out to his left.

Defensive dilemma

Really Ashley Young shouldn’t be ideal for this sort of game, but pragmatically, he could be the best option.
Dalot should be the preference, and this would have been a serious test for him if he was available.
Valencia was not in good form before his spell out and his sudden availability should not warrant an automatic recall. Especially after Young’s efforts on Saturday.

The South American’s role as captain means he will come under consideration, especially as he is generally more used to the position than Young.

Jose Mourinho has a big decision to make and it is one which could make the difference between a win or a loss if he gets it wrong.
Who would you like to see start at right-back?
