Manchester United youngster Will Fish is reported to be closing in on a loan return to Hibernian.
The centre-back impressed on loan at Hibernian last season and The Mail had reported how both Aberdeen and Hibernian were both battling to sign him.
Now it has emerged that Hibernian are set to win the race, the Daily Record reports.
It is claimed Manchester United have ‘agreed a deal’ to for Will Fish to return for the 2023/24 season.

Will Fish return to Hibernian
Hibernian qualified for the Europa Conference League and that is an extra reason for the defender to opt for a return to Easter Road.
He has the confidence of manager Lee Johnson, who selected him as a regular starter.
Fish ended up starting the final 22 consecutive league games of Hibernian’s season, playing all 90 minutes in 20 of them.
The 20-year-old scored three goals along the way too, helping his side to an impressive fifth placed finish.
Manchester United can’t offer Fish first team football next season, so an exit makes sense. It’s just a case of deciding whether to cash in, or loan him out.
It appears Fish is set for a loan exit, which keeps the door open for a permanent switch later down the line, or for him to be integrated into United’s first team in the future.
The young centre-back showed on his previous loan spell that he is a big talent, capable of playing at a first team level.
It wasn’t simple at first, with Fish barely featuring in the first half of the season. Now established as a key player in the side, he has become a top priority for the club in the market this summer.
