Manchester United youngster Maxi Oyedele has made his Poland under-18s debut.
Sport.pl reported earlier this month Oyedele had been called into the Poland youth set up for the first time.

As we explained, Oyedele qualifies through his Polish mother, while his dad is Nigerian. He was born in England – so was eligible to declare for three countries.
For now at least Oyedele appears to be leaning towards Poland, and made his debut for his country on Wednesday.
Youth international debut
Oyedele played 61 minutes as a starter as Poland drew 2-2 with Switzerland.
The 17-year-old central midfielder will stay with the squad for further upcoming fixtures, and sent a message to express his delight at making his debut.

There was no dilemma for Oyedele, claim Poland’s head of foreign scouting, Macieg Chorazyk.
Chorazyk told Polish outlet Sportowefakty that the pandemic prevented Oyedele from making his debut sooner, commenting: “He waited a long time for this debut, because already in that year it was going to be, but due to the pandemic everything was delayed and we did not even manage to check it, and now it is already with us. He has always wanted this.”
He added that there is some learning to do for the young Manchester United prospect, explaining: “Maxi has an ID card and a Polish passport. He speaks Polish poorly, but understands a lot. In this case, we watched him all the time and were close to him.”
Alejandro Garnacho recently swapped Spain’s under-18 side for Argentina’s national team, but Poland are not concerned Oyedele will change his mind.

Chorazyk said: “I don’t see an option for him to want to change to a different representation. He wants to play for us. This is a multi-functional player who can play in the six and eight.”
Oyedele is part of Manchester United’s FA Youth Cup side which has reached the final, scoring at Old Trafford on the way to United getting there. This international experience will help him ahead of the crucial upcoming fixture where he hopes to lift silverware with his teammates.
