Manchester United youngster Ethan Laird starred last night on loan for QPR as they recorded a 2-0 win away at Millwall.
Laird, 21, is on his fourth loan spell away from Manchester United and the right-back is winning over supporters already.
The United loanee did his job at both ends of the pitch, securing a clean sheet for his side and contributing as an attacking force throughout.
Laird created four goalscoring chances in the win, more than any player on the pitch at The Den.
He contributed to his side’s defensive shutout, with QPR’s live commentary in the 82nd minute commenting: “Laird makes a miraculous goal-saving block.”
The win lifts QPR into ninth place, level on points with the play-off spots, with Laird making six appearances for them so far.
He already has one goal and one assist to his name, and is arguably Manchester United’s best performing loanee right now, along with Dean Henderson.
Laird impressed for United in pre-season against Rayo Vallecano, and while unclear if he will breakthrough at Old Trafford, this loan spell appears to be working very well for him.

Amad and Hannibal feature as substitutes
Elsewhere in the Championship, two more Manchester United loanees came off the bench and recorded wins.
Amad was a 73rd minute substitute as Sunderland won 3-0 away at Reading. He created two chances with a lively cameo performance.
Hannibal came off the bench for Birmingham City in their 3-2 victory over West Brom in the 76th minute. He struggled to get involved but helped his side to see out a win.
