Manchester United are reportedly interested in Benfica midfielder Bryan Cristante with a view to a move in the summer of 2018.
Italian midfielder Cristante is on loan at Atalanta and a permanent deal between the clubs has already been agreed – but O Jogo claim that United might usurp that £10m agreement by paying the £31m release clause in the player’s new contract.
Cristante’s goal return this season has reportedly impressed Jose Mourinho, who likes the midfielder’s style of play. The Italian is seen as an ideal complement to Paul Pogba.
The player made his international debut in October and started his career at Milan.
