United have paid the full £90 million for Romelu Lukaku

Manchester United have now paid Everton a full £90 million for Romelu Lukaku, report The Times.
United signed Lukaku in 2017 for an initial £75 million plus potential add ons.
The Times claims United have now paid the full £15 million extra in incentives, believed to be based on goals and appearances.

Lukaku has in recent days been linked with an exit to Inter Milan.
United are reportedly willing to take a small loss and sell if they can get £80 million for the striker.
After an impressive opening couple of months at United, Lukaku has flattered to deceive across the majority of the two seasons which followed.
His brace away to Paris Saint-Germain was the highlight, but in the Premier League he has struggled to score in big games. Nor has he come close to challenging for the golden boot.

Selling Lukaku is a bit of a risk when it is unclear who the club would sign as a replacement.

Reports of United’s £90 million spend highlights what a big investment the club made in Lukaku, without an extraordinary return.
