Manchester United are set to have a headache in January as one of their senior goalkeepers is seeking an exit.

According to the Daily Mail, Sergio Romero is considering his options due to his lack of first team football. Romero is keen to establish his place as a first team goalkeeper with Argentina’s World Cup campaign in mind.

To this point, Romero remains the number one for his country, but after only four starts for United this season, it is clear he feels that his chances are under threat, and as thus the Mail report he is open to moving, as he remains unconvinced by his chances of significantly improved playing time.

Jose Mourinho, however, will resist offers to sell the goalkeeper, who played an important role in United’s Europa League campaign last season.
