New Manchester United signing Tyrell Malacia had a positive message for supporters after making his pre-season debut for the club.
Malacia, 22, came on for Luke Shaw at half-time as one of 10 changes in the 4-0 victory over Liverpool.
The former Feyenoord defender Malacia looked like a seamless fit into Erik ten Hag’s new look system, and he was thrilled to be involved. He sent a message after the win expressing his happiness.

Malacia pre-season debut
Malacia is Manchester United’s first and so far only summer signing, and the promising left-back will have an important role to play across the course of the season.
Speaking after the game to MUTV, Malacia said: “It’s amazing to be here, to wear the shirt. It was difficult because the weather was very hot [but] we made it.”
Asked what he wants to bring to the team, Malacia responded by saying he wanted to provide assists and ‘energy’.

United’s squad has a fresh feel despite the lack of signings, due to Erik ten Hag kicking off a new regime, and several players returning from loan.
Malacia will get more chances across the next five pre-season games, as he looks to start staking a claim for a starting spot when Manchester United’s season kicks off against Brighton.
He did his chances no harm with a strong performance up against Mohamed Salah in the final half hour of Tuesday’s friendly match.
United’s new signing gave the Liverpool forward little time and space and can be proud of registering a clean sheet in his first match.
