Manchester United have made three signings so far this summer – but only one was completed in time for pre-season tour.
Deals for Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez were only completed in the last week, and neither have yet been pictured in Manchester United shirts or have squad numbers assigned.
Tyrell Malacia is on tour in Australia, and the extra time he has had getting to know his new teammates could prove invaluable.
The £13 million signing from Feyenoord has made two pre-season friendly appearances so far and is expected to make a third in the upcoming match with Crystal Palace.

Malacia says he feels at home
Malacia told Manchester United’s tour diary that he feels settled at the club already, and thanks the fans, players and staff for this.
He explained: “It feels like home already, the fans made me feel like I’m at home already.
“The guys made me feel like this, the manager, everything, the staff, so I’m happy to be here and looking forward to playing in the Premier League and play at Old Trafford and win some prizes.”
Malacia is likely to make his home debut in the friendly against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on July 31.
It is encouraging to hear how settled he feels, and it is a reminder that United have missed an opportunity to get more players in before the tour.

While the Christian Eriksen deal was complex to conclude due to a rigorous medical, United could have done more to get Lisandro Martinez in early, if time had not been spent pursuing Jurrien Timber early in the window.
The less said about Frenkie de Jong at this point the better. United have certainly been trying hard with that one.
Malacia has made a good impression at United so far, with Victor Lindelof telling the club website the left-back has looked ‘really good’ in training so far.
