Malacia says he dreamed of signing

He explained: “Mr Ten Hag is a very good trainer and also a warm person, so I had a good conversation with him and I have a very good feeling with him.
“That’s important, because if all goes well, we’ll work together for years. I’m looking forward to that, because I think I can learn a lot from him, he makes players who want to work hard better.”
Malacia’s optimism is encouraging to hear. The left-back will sign a long-term deal with United, and he will look to see it out.
The Netherlands international will be followed in at United by free agent Christian Eriksen, who The Athletic report is also set to join.
United are also pursuing defender Lisandro Martinez from Ajax and midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona.
The Red Devils want to wrap up as many signings as possible before flying out on pre-season tour this Friday.
