Erik ten Hag called two talented young attackers into the first team training group in Monday’s session at Carrington.
Pre-season is a time for opportunity, and through July so far, Erik ten Hag has decided to give as many opportunities to as many young players as possible.
The latest two spotted at Carrington were promising forwards Ethan Williams and Ethan Wheatley.
Both players were seen mixing with with Diogo Dalot, below, with Williams in possession in red, and Wheatley in the green bib.

Ethan Williams: Key Facts
Ethan Williams was the breakout star of Manchester United’s under-18s campaign last season.
The 17-year-old scored seven goals and provided nine assists in all competitions, featuring on both the left wing and right wing. Williams provided an assist in the FA Youth Cup too.
He is eligible to play international football for both England and France and was called up late in the season to Manchester United’s under-21 side.

Ethan Wheatley: Key Facts
Ethan Wheatley, also 17, is more of a traditional centre-forward than Williams and also had a promising season at under-18s level.
He scored five goals, despite missing several games, averaging a strike every 187 minutes. He finished the season really strongly, with three in his last five games.
Wheatley is an England under-17s international. He is yet to play for the under-21s.
