Manchester United trained at Carrington this morning before flying out to San Sebastian ahead of tomorrow night’s crucial Europa League clash against Real Sociedad.

The Red Devils announced this afternoon that 23 players will be making the trip to Spain where Erik ten Hag’s side need to win by two goals to qualify for the Europa League last-16 as Group E winners

Ahead of the game against La Real, here are three things United in Focus spotted from this morning’s session at Carrington.

Donny van de Beek and Casemiro deep in conversation

As the players walked out to training, Van de Beek and our Brazilian midfield enforcer were seen having a conversation before Lisandro Martinez jumped onto the Dutchman.

United’s number 34 will be hoping to establish himself in Ten Hag’s best team alongside the five-time Champions League winner.

The former Ajax ace, who marked his return from injury with a cameo appearance off the bench against Sheriff Tiraspol, hasn’t had the opportunity to play alongside our classy number 18 as of yet.

Scott McTominay clearly isn’t a fan of hats

United’s number 39 took matters into his own hands when he saw wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho wearing a hat in training.

The Scot robbed the forward’s hat before giving it a good old-fashioned volley down the pitch which drew smiles from Van de Beek and Harry Maguire.

With Antony, Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial missing from United’s 23-man squad, Garnacho could have a chance of starting his second game for United’s senior side against La Real.

Zidane Iqbal impresses United trio with piece of skill on Marcus Rashford

During rondo’s, the two-time Iraq international produced a piece of skill which left Christian Eriksen, Garnacho and Tyrell Malacia in awe.

Rashford, who scored his 100th goal for the Reds on Sunday against West Ham, was in the middle but Iqbal managed to get the ball through the England international’s legs much to our number ten’s disbelief.
