Andre Onana managed to get his third clean-sheet of the season against Palace, now Erik ten Hag has praised him.
Palace weren’t anywhere near Manchester United on a cold night September night at Old Trafford.
The game saw United play the best football they have all season, and also remain so strong defensively, limiting Palace to a handful of half chances.
However despite the limited chances they had, Andre Onana was still called into action to make a couple of massive saves.
Because of this, he earned his third clean sheet of the season, which has warranted praise from Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag on Onana
Speaking after the 3-0 win over Palace, Erik ten Hag discussed various things via the club website.
One of these was his views on Onana, to which Ten Hag said: “Of course, it’s always when you [get a] clean sheet, it will always give the ‘keeper confidence, especially when you contribute, when you have some great saves, like on Saturday, when he had that header, it was a very important save there, and now in the end, he had two fantastic saves.
“So that will help and build his confidence. But he has personality, he deals with situations, with pressure, he can do that and I think he’s starting to do that now.”
After a somewhat shaky start, Onana seems to now be back to his best as seen against both Burnley and Palace.
The keeper was brilliant
Onana looked untouchable last night, thanks to his own brilliance at that of the defence in front of him.
He made two saves from the two shots faced by him all game, which is impressive as it would’ve been easy for him to lose focus.
On the ball he was class, completing 91% of his 34 passes while also having 40 touches of the ball according to FotMob.
Four recoveries too, which caps off a top night for Onana and one he will be hoping becomes a regular occurrence.
