Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic is of interest to Manchester United, reports Sky Germany‘s Florian Plettenberg.
United are said to have held talks with the Austrian striker’s representatives. He has scored 22 goals in 48 Bundesliga games.
Kaladjdzic has just returned to pre-season training with Stuttgart, where he has just one year remaining on his contract.
Kicker report he looked visibly unhappy in Monday’s session, reporting that he sat himself away from teammates at one stage. The suggestion is that he had expected to leave by now already.

Stuttgart chief has admitted exit likely
Stuttgart chief Sven Mislintat has admitted Kaladjzic’s exit from the club this summer is one the Bundesliga club are resigned to.
He was quoted by Focus.de earlier this summer, stating: “It would be outstanding if we can keep him as a player and as a guy. In my opinion, however, this is not very likely.”
Mislintat went on to add: “Sasa showed last year’s season, in the second half of the season and at the European Championships, that he is one of the absolute top central strikers in Europe.”
The Austria international could be allowed to leave for £21 million, BILD reported (25m Euros).
Newspaper Stuttgarter Nachrichten has also reported that Tottenham have been considering Kaladjzic as a back-up for Harry Kane.
Austrian outlet Laoala1 reported RB Leipzig also have an interest in the centre-forward.
Kaladjzic was in the recent Austria international squads selected by former United interim boss Ralf Rangnick, although it’s unlikely this will have any bearing on a potential transfer.
Sky Germany reported Kalajdzic is ‘very interested’ in Manchester United. When a player wants to join the club, that’s always helpful.
