Leicester City star Conor Coady has explained what the Manchester United dressing will be thinking amid the potential takeover.
As the 25 per cent acquisition seems likely, it seems that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS will be taking charge of all football operations.
This will have raised questions about the structure currently in place and what happens to them.
But most importantly, the players will be thinking about what happens to them now.
A huge cloud of uncertainty hangs over the club, and it is pivotal the new part-owners make their ambitions and intentions clear.
That is according to Conor Coady who says that footballing reasons is what the players will be concerned with.

Speaking on The Monday Night Club on 5 Live Sport for the BBC, Coady was explaining what the players at United will be thinking right now.
“You think straight away about the football. Straight away you’re thinking, a takeover’s happening, what’s going to happen with the manager what’s going to happen with the players are we gonna go forward, what are we gonna do.”
This emphasises even more the need for early structure to be made clear and obvious, if it goes ahead.
What can be expected
Manchester United are in line for a huge sporting shake-up if INEOS are to take charge.
New Directors of Football have been touted with Richard Arnold and John Murtough due to lose their roles in recruitment.
The hope is having experienced sports people in influential positions should fix a lot of the woes at Old Trafford.
The most important thing however is that any period of upheaval doesn’t impact Erik ten Hag or the players.
