Manchester United must move to sign another midfielder before the transfer window closes, says Robbie Savage.
Speaking to Teamtalk, Robbie Savage has given his verdict on Fiorentina midfielder Sfyan Amrabat and believes he would be a very clever addition for Manchester United.
He said: “They definitely need a number six before the window shuts.”
Savage on Amrabat
Savage added: “Amrabat has been linked. I watched him in in the Europa Conference League final, he’s a very very good player, was unbelievable in the World Cup, from that deep midfield role.
“He can get on the ball, he can dictate he can he can pop passes, he can switch play, can pass forward. Next to Casemiro, he would be fantastic.”

Amrabat could cost just £21 million
A report this week via Calciomercato reports Fiorentina could cost as little as £21 million.
Amrabat is now training alone in an effort to try and force a move away from the Serie A side, Calciomercato subsequently reported, after he was an unused substitute at the weekend.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Manchester United’s need for a midfielder has been exacerbated by an injury to Mason Mount, who could be until October, The Telegraph report.
United need to do something. The transfer window has lost all momentum, with negativity enveloping the fanbase after a poor start to the campaign.
A move for Amrabat won’t be an instant fix for all the ills at Old Trafford, but it would help, and at the fee he is available for, he would represent a bargain.
