Manchester United have announced the signing of international midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
It seems Sofyan Amrabat himself is pretty happy about it too. He reacted on Instagram as soon as the deal was announced to express his happiness.
Amrabat is not currently in the UK. He completed his medical in Italy, after negotiations were concluded in Florence.
He has signed on a season long loan deal, with United paying a fee up front, with a right to buy included as part of the deal.

Official signing photos will have to wait, with Sofyan Amrabat scheduled to fly into Manchester over the next 24 hours.
United released a graphic and announced the move on Instagram, before none other than Sofyan Amrabat himself responded, with a series of emojis: “❤️🙌💪.”

Sofyan Amrabat told Manchester United’s club website: “It is a huge honour to become a Manchester United player. I’ve had to be patient for this moment but I’m someone who always listens to my heart and now I am representing the club of my dreams.
“I am a passionate player; I want to bring that energy to the squad, and I will put everything into every action I take for the team. I know exactly how Erik ten Hag likes to work and what he needs from his players.
“His coaching and guidance developed me so much as a player earlier in my career
“I know that he will help to bring out the best of my abilities so that I can help the group to be successful this season.”
Amrabat goodbye
Amrabat had a goodbye message to send to Fiorentina supporters on Instagram, thanking them for their support.
He wrote: “After three years at this beautiful club, it’s time to take on a new challenge. When I arrived in 2020, I couldn’t have imagined all the adventures we’d experience together.
“Our run in the Conference League and Coppa Italia last year and the many special nights at Stadio Artemio Franchi will live with me forever.
“I want to extend a massive thanks to the club, all players, staff and fans for all the memories we’ve created. It has been an honour to wear this badge.”
Amrabat will strengthen Manchester United’s midfield and could be a crucial player to provide a much needed balance to the team.
He has already won over supporters with his desire to join the club, showing patience, turning down other offers.
