Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was on the scoresheet as the Red Devils were held 2-2 by Tottenham.
Whisper it quietly. Marcus Rashford is coming back into form. He scored the second goal in Manchester United’s game against Tottenham, his sixth of the season.
Rashford now has 11 goal contributions for the campaign, with five assists to add to his strikes.
He has either scored or assisted in four games in a row now, a positive sign to take.

Marcus Rashford praised
Marcus Rashford’s contribution was praised on MUTV, with former academy youngster Fraizer Campbell commending his performance and his goal.
Campbell said: “Marcus has been very direct, back to his best. It boosts his confidence, he’s working hard.
“I thought he had a decent game. He’s so quick and he’s got great feet. I want to see him running at defenders. I thought this was a step forward for him today.”
He reflected: “He’s not hit the highs he did last year… a lot of players will hold their hands up and say the same thing.”
Break comes at wrong time for Rashford
Manchester United now have a two-week break before the next fixture, which is a FA Cup game away at either Newport County or Eastleigh. The next Premier League game is away against Wolves.
Frustratingly, this break comes at a time where Rashford is just coming back into form, and when United are getting players back from injury.
United are a better team when Rashford is playing well, and it is great that he is slowly emerging from the slump which wrecked the first part of his season.
It is down to him to ensure that he remains in the same positive mindset he has been in for the last fortnight when United’s season resumes. It was around this time last year when he really clicked into top form.
