Tim Sherwood has slated one Manchester United man in particular following the 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth dominated the clash against Manchester United despite the Red Devils’ best attempts to trouble the Cherries, they really struggled to break down the stubborn defence.
One man, in particular, struggled against the South Coast side and it was Anthony Martial. The Frenchman has struggled massively since being brought into the first team in place of Rasmus Hojlund.
The Frenchman had just one shot on target against the Cherries and was replaced with audible excitement with the Danish forward coming on and struggling too.

Sherwood on Martial
Speaking on Gillette Soccer Saturday, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager was not very fond of the French forward’s performance.
“They have taken off Anthony Martial for Rasmus Hojlund which was the correct change, he’s been absolutely anonymous throughout,” Sherwood said.
Since joining the club in the summer of 2015 from Monaco, the Frenchman has blown hot and cold for too long and the forward was once again poor against the Cherries.
He struggled hugely against Marcos Senesi with Martial having just one shot on target against the Cherries and should have been taken off sooner than he was and Erik ten Hag has to stop picking him for the Red Devils.
Martial’s future
The future of the former Monaco forward certainly looks bleak with his contract at Old Trafford set to expire in the summer and there are no signs of his stay at the club being extended.
It’s fair to say Martial is on his final chance for the Red Devils with the forward struggling to make an impact in the games he has started for United.
Whatever the future holds for the forward, performances like he put in for the Red Devils against the Cherries were simply not good enough and he needs to get better.
