Former long-serving Manchester United kitman Albert Morgan has revealed Sir Alex Ferguson hasn’t lost his touch after sharing his reaction to the Red Devils’ modern team.
Red Devils legend Sir Alex Ferguson bowed out of Old Trafford in 2013 after he successfully led Manchester United to their last Premier League title.
The 82-year-old Scotsman arrived at United in 1986 and Ferguson left the club with 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League trophies.
Following the end of his 26-year reign at Old Trafford, Ferguson has remained an ever-present figure at United and is often spotted watching the Red Devils in action.
Albert Morgan, who is now a club ambassador, has now revealed that Ferguson’s elite mentality has not changed since his time in the Old Trafford hot seat.

Ferguson’s reaction to modern Man Utd
Sir Alex Ferguson famously made a U-turn on his decision to retire in 2002 and the legendary former Manchester United manager continued his career at the club.
The former Aberdeen and United boss walked away from Old Trafford as manager in 2013 and did not make a U-turn for the second time.
The Red Devils have struggled in the aftermath of Ferguson’s retirement, having not won the Premier League title in over a decade under five different managers.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jose Mourinho have had United’s best league positions since Ferguson’s retirement, with the Red Devils finishing second on two occasions.
Albert Morgan has revealed that Ferguson was never tempted to make his return as United manager, despite the Red Devils’ struggles since his exit from the club.
However, the ex-United kitman admitted that Ferguson had licked his lips at the idea of delivering an infamous ‘hairdryer treatment’ when modern United don’t do well.
“No way,” Morgan told FourFourTwo magazine, before adding: “Although every now and again, when we’re sat having a cup of tea and we’ve had a s**t performance, he’ll say, ‘I’d f*****g love half an hour in that dressing room.’”
Morgan on Ferguson’s love for Man Utd
Morgan added that Ferguson still has a deep – and loyal – connection with United and is still so “passionate” about how the Red Devils play on the pitch.
The former United kitman also revealed that Ferguson will make his feelings perfectly clear when the club are not playing as well as they should be.
“The club still means a lot to him,” Morgan said.
“If I don’t go to a game and watch it on TV, I can guarantee within five minutes of kick-off, my phone is on fire – ‘What the f*****g hell was that? Look at that!’
“He’s still so passionate.”
