Nottingham Forest face Manchester United in just 11 days time.
They’re a club that’s definitely been going through it in the Premier League this season. Forest currently sits 17th in the table, just five points from the dreaded drop zone.
Due to this, as reported by Sky Sports, long-term manager Steve Cooper was shockingly sacked, with former Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo taking his place.
This spells bad news for Manchester United, who certainly don’t have the best record against the Portuguese manager.

Wolves always seemed to be a bit of a bogey team for Manchester United, with Nuno a factor in that. Both his victories against United came at Wolverhampton, similar to the four draws.
These fixtures have resulted in the Red Devils having just a 40% win record against a Nuno side. This includes Wolves knocking us out of the Sixth Round of the FA Cup back in March 2019.
He always seemed to have a way of making United drop points. Not good heading into the Nottingham Forest fixture.
Nuno to take helm for Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest
Manchester United travel to The City Ground on the 30th of December 2023 where they take on Nuno Espirito Santo’s Forest side in their last game of 2023.
This will be the first time Erik ten Hag has taken on the opposition manager, which will make for an intriguing encounter.
United will be set to face Nuno at his third club in the Premier League. Can they up their win percentage in this one?
