Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche has reflected on comments he made about Ruben Amorim earlier this year.
Manchester United travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday. They will be looking for a fourth consecutive victory in the Premier League to build on recent wins over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton.
United’s 4-2 win over Brighton last time out saw Matheus Cunha score his first goal for the club, while fellow new signing Bryan Mbeumo extended his tally of goals to five in 10 matches.
The next step is beating Forest to extend the win streak and climb up the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Forest lost their last match 2-0 against Bournemouth, and they are sitting 18th in the table after a terrible start to the season.
Sean Dyche is in the dugout as the third manager Forest have had this season after dismissing Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou earlier in the campaign.

Sean Dyche clarifies Ruben Amorim comments
Dyche will face Ruben Amorim for the first time since becoming Forest manager on Saturday.
The former Burnley and Everton manager doesn’t have the best of records against the Red Devils. In 18 matches, Dyche has only one win, and it came during his time at Turf Moor.
Amorim faced Dyche once while the Forest manager was in charge of Everton, winning 4-0 as Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee scored two goals each.
However, this meeting comes amid previous comments made by Dyche about Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 formation at Old Trafford. Dyche told the Stick To Football podcast in May that he would have won more matches than the Portuguese had managed since replacing Erik ten Hag last November.
“He’s not going to change the way he plays. He [Ruben Amorim] better win some games – pretty quick,” Dyche said. “I reckon if I went there and played my way, we’d win more games. Just 4-4-2 – give them basic rules of principles.
“We’re all going, ‘Fair play’ – but, he’s been there a while now so you better start bringing some wins soon.”
The situation has changed at United in recent weeks, with United winning every match played in October, which has led to Amorim dismissing Dyche’s comments during Thursday’s press conference.
Dyche has now backtracked on those comments in his own press conference by slating the media for ‘clickbait’.
“I didn’t question him as a person and I would never do that. Clickbait kills anything,” Dyche said.
“I equally said I want managers to be given time and I said he should get half a season to continue what he’s doing.
“I have maximum respect for all managers. I’m pretty sure his media department will have made that clear to him.
“The basics may have worked better was my suggestion and they have changed their style so fair play to him. Not necessarily their beliefs but their style.
“They are playing quicker forward and longer, a bit tighter in getting back into their shape. That’s management, that’s coaching.
“That doesn’t mean he’s changed his whole philosophy, it’s adapting to what’s in front of him so fair play to him. He’s shown a bit of flexibility and they’re getting results.”
Man Utd must end miserable away run vs Nottingham Forest
