Casemiro made an instant impact for Manchester United by contributing to Saturday’s win over Southampton.
The new signing played the last 10 minutes plus stoppage time to help the Red Devils hold onto a 1-0 lead and clinch all three points.
Helping United to a first away win and clean sheet in several months was a great way for the Brazilian to start off.
The new addition had only a couple of days training before the match, making his contribution even more impressive.

Scott McTominay raves about Casemiro
Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is a player who is likely to see his own playing time suffer due to Casemiro’s arrival.
But he sees the Brazilian’s move to Old Trafford as a positive. McTominay is keen to learn from his new teammate.
McTominay told United’s official website: “To learn off somebody like him who has won pretty much everything in the game is amazing.
“His mentality, the way he’s so firm with everything that he does, an amazing footballer who can help us so much and be one of our main players.”
McTominay’s comments are just what we want to hear. He knows Casemiro will make United a better team, and only sees his arrival as beneficial.
McTominay was rightly dropped after United’s opening game, but he played well upon his recall to the side against Liverpool and also did well against Southampton.
Erik ten Hag has a decision to make whether to start Casemiro against Leicester on Thursday, or more likely, to save him for the match against Arsenal on Sunday.
