Manchester United have released new pictures of Ruben Amorim settling into life at the club.

New head coach Ruben Amorim arrived at Manchester United in November 11, and was greeted by key Ineos staff outside Old Trafford.

Amorim was subsequently seen greeting players including Kobbie Mainoo, and expressing that he wants them to ‘have fun’.

Aside from that, United have kept his week low-key, with his first interview expected to be released by the club at some point over the next 48 hours. For now, we make do with some pictures of Amorim settling into his new surroundings.

Ruben Amorim on the pitch

Ruben Amorim was seen with a huge grin as he took in the sights of Old Trafford, a stadium which faces an uncertain future.

United are considering all options which includes building an entirely new stadium, which has backing from fans polled by the club.

This could be a move which happens under Amorim’s tenure, certainly a decision will likely be made one way or another; it’s then up to him to ensure he sees out his contract, and then some.

Ruben Amorim on ‘press duty’

Another area where Ruben Amorim will spent lots of time is holding press conferences before and after games.

In the picture above, Amorim wore an even bigger smile, which we hope we will see many times after matches.

If Amorim is smiling like this in the press room after the match, then it is a sign the game will have gone exactly as we hoped.

Ruben Amorim takes in United’s history

A poignant picture saw Ruben Amorim looking at the wall of managers who have been at the club before him, looking on pensively.

We do not know what took the smile off his face, but we might hazard a guess that it was staring at the likes of David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, who have tried to replace Sir Alex Ferguson and failed – he really does have his work cut out.

Amorim is United’s sixth permanent manager since Ferguson, and we hope it is a long time until we meet the seventh.
