Ruben Amorim must work towards getting the best out of Benjamin Sesko after the Slovenia striker scored his first goal for Manchester United.
Manchester United paid £74 million to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig in the summer.
Questions were being asked of Sesko during his goal drought, which is something he must learn to deal with at United, where expectations are high.
United’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford meant that Sesko’s first goal for his new club went largely under the radar. It doesn’t help that United are having their worst-ever start to a Premier League campaign.
However, the only way to stop the rot is by winning football matches.
Ruben Amorim hopes that the new signings begin to stand up and impact games in a positive way for the Red Devils.
Only Everton and the three relegated teams scored fewer goals than United last season, which helps explain why Ineos signed Sesko for a hefty transfer fee.

A lot of pressure has been lifted off Sesko’s shoulders after scoring his first goal for United, but Amorim has been impressed by other aspects of the Slovenian’s game since arriving at Old Trafford.
It took Sesko seven games to open his goalscoring account as a United player. He only started four of those games, and in one of them, he withdrew at half-time due to Casemiro’s red card in United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea.
Amorim believes winning football matches will give the team more confidence, but he also stressed that Sesko was anxious for his first United goal.
The United head coach also revealed what he likes most about his new striker.
“The most important thing is to win games,” Amorim told MUTV. “That will give confidence for everybody in the team.
“Of course, he was anxious for his first goal. The thing I like most in Ben is, even when things are hard for him with the ball, he is working hard in every minute of the game.
“That is the most important thing in the moment.”

After a slow start to the season, Amorim wants his players to ensure they are focused for the entire 90 minutes of games.
United fans have only seen glimpses of what the team is capable of since the beginning of the season. There have been positive periods in games, but not for an entire 90 minutes, plus stoppage time.
Amorim will expect to see full focus when the Red Devils host Sunderland on Saturday.
“It’s really important [to start well],” he said. “But what is more important is to understand the game has 90 minutes, it has different moments. That is the thing we need to learn.
“Sometimes, we start really well. Sometimes, we have a problem that we had at Brentford, every time we suffer a goal, we lose a little bit our organisation. So, in the end, of course it’s really important to start well but it’s important to play the game 90 minutes and we can create situations. So we just need to give time to the team to win games.
“It’s completely different,” he said in terms of the mood going into the break, regarding whether we can get the three points on Saturday.
“It’s a massive difference to go to the stop with a positive result, and we have to win it. So, again, we are in the beginning of the season, we could do better in the last games, but, we prove already when we are focused, we can win any game.
“It’s really important to win this one to enjoy the break.”
