Keane celebrated his 57th birthday on August 10 and he was a part of the presenting team for Man United’s clash with City in the Community Shield final.

All who know him are well aware that he hates being the centre of attention and memorably, everyone should carry on with their jobs.

When he was asked to expand upon his birthday after being wished, he replied in the most Keane way possible.

In a typical deadpan manner, Keane responded succinctly in just four words, saying, “It’s just another day”.

The response and the way in which he delivered it caught everyone off guard and the fans appreciated the United legend always staying true to his character.

Keane could play as a conventional defensive midfielder while also having the ability to break through lines with his passing or progress it himself.

Moreover, his intangible qualities like commitment to standards and professionalism would be a manager’s dream, even though he needed careful management during his days due to his temper.
