Manchester United striker James Wilson has moved on loan to Aberdeen.
Wilson, who has had a difficult time trying to break through at Old Trafford, has moved to the Scottish Premier League side for the season.
He had been linked with a loan move to the Championship but has decided on a move north of the border.
Wilson’s career at Old Trafford started in a blaze of glory, with two goals on his full debut against Hull City under interim manager Ryan Giggs in 2014. But since then he has struggled to break through, with injuries and unsuccessful loan moves stunting his career.
The forward has had spells at Brighton, Derby and Sheffield United, with the Bramall Lane club reportedly keen to take him back for a second term, but Wilson has decided to move to Aberdeen instead.
He has scored ten goals in 53 professional appearances.
