Ronaldo has the most professional goals in the game’s history, with 923 strikes to his name, and the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has played and won titles in Portugal, England, Italy, Spain and Saudi Arabia.
With that, Ronaldo has experienced a beautiful game across the world and he is never short of a controversial opinion.
That is essentially the reason he left United under a grey cloud following a public spat with former United manager Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo has occasionally brought up the United fallout in interviews since going public with a tell-all interview on Piers Morgan’s infamous show.
Ronaldo aims fresh dig at Erik ten Hag and Ralf Rangnick
Ronaldo played under several United managers from Sir Alex Ferguson to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ralf Rangnick and Ten Hag.
While there was harmony under Ferguson and Solskjaer, Ronaldo fell out with both Rangnick and Ten Hag during his second stint at Old Trafford.
In a recent interview, the forward revealed not all of his managers were tactically astute, and some were clueless about the game.
Ronaldo’s quotes have been relayed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via X, formerly known as Twitter.
There have been several explosive disagreements with some of the managers under his stewardship. However, since the forward did not name the managers in question, fans must conclude who he referred to.
Ronaldo needs to move on
The comments are disrespectful whatever way you look at it.
Honesty is appreciated at a time many footballers jump to the nearest cliché, and Ronaldo’s comments will make for interesting debate.
One can only imagine how hurt Ronaldo is about the way he left Old Trafford the second time. Under a grey cloud, he was shown the door, following a major clash in personalities.
Ronaldo needs to move on and focus on the rest of his career.
