Rasmus Hojlund has opened up about how he was feeling after his brother Oscar Hojlund made a brief cameo at Old Trafford.
The Danish forward was speaking after Manchester United got a narrow, and at times unconvincing, 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen to keep their hopes of qualification into the next round alive.
Rasmus Hojlund, who was likened to Alan Shearer after the game by Paul Scholes, wasn’t on the pitch when his brother was brought on in the closing stages of the Champions League group stage match.
The win propels United to within a point of Turkish side Galatasaray who currently sit second in the group and are seemingly favourites to qualify.

Hojlund’s reaction
The Dane was speaking in the mixed and after his media duties, Hojlund snuck up behind his younger brother, Oscar, as he was being interviewed after the game.
“It is a great feeling being on the same pitch as my brother and not only in a normal stadium,” Hojlund,20, said to The National News. “In Denmark, it is [considered] one of the most special stadiums in the world, so it is a special feeling.”
The only unfortunate point for Hojlund is that he didn’t share the pitch at the same time as his brother as he was substituted late on for Anthony Martial.
As well as this, the Danish striker has spoken about how much he is enjoying playing for his ‘dream’ club.
Hojlund on United dream
“Yeah, very nice. I play for my boyhood club. I have always supported Manchester United, so I am living my dream every day,” he said.
When asked about the start he has made in a United shirt, which has included three goals in the Champions League, it’s clear that the 20-year-old wants further improvement.
“It has been all right,” Hojlund said. “I’ve tried my best every time I play, and I still need to find the rhythm. We have been struggling a little bit, but we are getting there now. We have had three wins in a row, so that is very positive.”
It doesn’t get any easier for the Red Devils as they take on Manchester City on Sunday in a monumental clash.
