Manchester United duo Raphael Varane and Bruno Fernandes cannot wait to play alongside Erik ten Hag‘s fourth signing Casemiro.
The 30-year-old Brazilian completed his £70m move to United from Real Madrid on Monday night and was paraded in front of the Old Trafford crowd prior to beating the old enemy Liverpool 2-1.
Like his former Los Blancos teammate Varane, who was paraded at home against Leeds United for the opening game of last season, Casemiro was also unveiled ahead of a big clash against one of our fiercest rivals.
The defensive midfielder’s arrival at the Theatre of Dreams prior to the clash against Jurgen Klopp’s side gave United fans that extra buzz, and resulted in Old Trafford being a cauldron of noise.

The World Cup winner was teammates with the Brazil international for eight years at the Santiago Bernabeu, where they won four Champions Leagues together before the former Sau Paulo man collected a fifth against Liverpool in May.
The Frenchman has said that the Red Devils have signed a “warrior” in the midfield anchor who greeted former Reds captain Roy Keane while being paraded as a new Manchester United player.
Speaking about his reunion with one of the best defensive midfielder’s in the game, Varane told the MEN: “I know perfectly his quality. He can bring this balance to the team and his mentality.
“He can bring this balance to the team and this mentality. He’s a warrior, so I think he will really enjoy English football. I know (laughs).
“I think it was a perfect night for him to meet Old Trafford because the atmosphere was absolutely amazing, and he brings a victory so it’s nice.
“I think he doesn’t need my help to make his choice. I know exactly what he feels and why he’s coming here after what he lived in Madrid.
“He needs a new challenge, I know exactly why he chose this club. It’s a similar process that I had so obviously I wish him the best and I’m speaking with him a lot, but he didn’t need me to make his choice.”
Fernandes, who could strike up a fruitful partnership with the new midfielder, spoke in glowing terms about the serial winner.
Our number eight said: “I think Casemiro is a great player who will do great things for us and we are really happy to have him.
“We know that he has a good mentality, he showed this at Real Madrid and we’re hoping for him to come and do it at the same level.”
Casemiro could make his Manchester United debut away to Southampton on Saturday.
