Ralf Rangnick has conducted his press conference ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Tottenham at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Rangnick faced the media at the briefing which was streamed on United’s official app at 1.45pm and he was asked about the fitness of his squad.
He said that Luke Shaw is still positive for Covid having missed the Manchester derby, but Raphael Varane is back.
Cristiano Ronaldo could play in the weekend’s game, having missed the derby and the same goes for Edinson Cavani.

He also said that Scott McTominay is an injury doubt with a calf injury, having made his return after illness last weekend.
“Luke Shaw is still positive and will not play and Scott is a bit of a doubt because he has a problem with his calf.
“We will have to see how he is after training today but at the moment it is looking more likely that he will not play.
“That is because if he plays tomorrow, he will be unlikely to make it for the Atletico Madrid game and when it is the calf, I prefer to be careful.
“Cristiano, like Edinson, is available for the game and was back in training this week.”

McTominay’s absence would be a blow but as Rangnick eluded to, it is probably best to be careful with him.
The Scotland international missed the first leg in Madrid and United’s midfield lacked bite and tempo.
Ronaldo is perhaps more likely to start the game than Cavani, having been out for less time and of course Marcus Rashford is an option amid talk over his future.
Shaw’s continued absence likely means Alex Telles will continue at left-back as United look to get back on track with a win over Antonio Conte’s side.
