Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick is hoping to have a clean bill of health ahead of the Champions League second leg against Atletico Madrid.
The Reds face Diego Simeone’s side at Old Trafford tomorrow night with the last-16 tie finally poised following the 1-1 draw at the Wanda Metropolitano three weeks ago.
Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes missed the 3-2 win against Tottenham at the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday.
But the trio returned to training at Carrington to give the Red Devils a big boost ahead of the massive European clash.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Rangnick confirmed that the three players were in contention to return against the reigning La Liga champions.
Rangnick said: “As it is right now we have all of the players available for tomorrow.
“There’s a small question mark on Luke Shaw.”
Shaw has missed the last two games after testing positive for Covid-19 and Bruno Fernandes also missed the game against Antonio Conte’s Spurs side.

McTominay missed the first leg in the Spanish capital and his presence in the heart of our middle was a big blow.
When asked whether a 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo could replicate his hat-trick heroics 72 hours after his record-breaking performance, Rangnick said: “He’s always been a person that looks after himself and his body.
“He knows what to do.”
