Former Manchester United caretaker boss, Ralf Rangnick has highlighted two players, who have captured ‘top form’ for United.
Rangnick took over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season however it was a bad period for the club.
The German in an interview with SPORT1, has praised the work of new boss Erik ten Hag.

Additionally highlighting the performances of two players who have improved substantially since his time at the club.
“Other players who, for various reasons, were not able to perform at their best back then are now in top form again when they are fit.
“I think of Marcus Rashford. Luke Shaw is fit again at the moment and doesn’t have any major injury problems anymore.”
This comes as a huge change in tune, considering Rangnick reportedly told Rashford he can leave this time last year.
On United’s season so far
On top of praising some of his former players, Rangnick spoke of how impressed he is by United’s season.
Applauding the fact that they are playing as a team and focussing on the prospect of a second trophy. The Austria boss seems to emphasise the exciting times at Old Trafford, describing an opportunity to build again.
“They are now a team again, so of course there were certain problems for certain reasons.
“You now have the opportunity to develop as a team again that they end up in the top four this year.
“I think you can say that now. And now in the FA Cup final against City they even have a chance to win a second title.”

Rangnick was initially very vocal on his disgust at the United way of running the club. However, he does seem to have seen positive change at the club.
“Of course it wasn’t an easy time. The time to get there back then, there could have been cheaper ones.
“Obviously, the club has recognized the signs of the times. Many of the things that we discussed internally back then have now been implemented.”
